FuelvoPress
Fuelvo is an app for iPhone (and soon Android) that finds the cheapest fuel station near you, with the official prices and the time of their latest update always in view.
In short
- What it does: shows the official prices of every fuel station in Spain and France, sorts the nearby ones by price or distance, marks the cheapest, filters the ones open right now, and notifies you when the price drops at a station you choose.
- What makes it different: it always shows how fresh the data is. The most common complaint about fuel apps is that the price does not match the pump; Fuelvo says when it last read the official prices and warns you when they have not been updated for a while.
- Who it is for: private drivers.
- Price: free to download, with no ads and no sign-up.
- Where the data comes from: the prices each station reports to its administration. Fuelvo is independent and not affiliated with any public body.
- Who makes it: Germán de Bustamante Conde, independent developer.
